The first time we ate there we were a party of four and were seated in the back of the restaurant. This time we were a party of seven.
Unfortunately what wasn't the same was the made to order menu that comes with the brunch. The menu had been shortened and they had left off the free range parmesan crusted chicken that I liked. What is left on it that we ordered however was delicious!
The buffet portion of the brunch had a varied selection of seafood, meats, salads, veggies, breads and desserts.
Like last year we I ate there the presentation and ambiance was great.
I'm going to let the following photos of the food speak for themselves.
Remember to click on photos to enlarge them if you want to see more detail!
The seafood was super fresh. The shrimp especially were extra large and firm, not rubbery and watery as I've had recently as some other buffets.
Above is my cocktail of Prosecco and strawberries, delish!
Standing between the hostess station and the buffet is the chef of the Country Club Restaurant Carlos Guia!
From the made to order menu I tried Shrimp and grits. Normally I don't like grits but these were great!
From the made to order menu above is poached eggs with BBQ smoked pork on a bacon cheese muffin with a chili hollandaise sauce.
Desserts were fabulous especially the homemade truffle on a stick above. Last year I had a wonderful marshmallow cookie on a stick which I loved but unfortunately they hadn't made them this time.
We briefly enjoyed the view of the waterfall and golf course but being July it was too hot to stay out there for long!
All of us enjoyed our brunch and I'll certainly be back again. The brunch is $59.00 but worth it in my opinion due to the quality of the meats and seafood. For those who don't like getting up and serving themselves at the buffet they can always just order everything off the made to order menu. Last year they didn't have a option for unlimited Champagne but now they do. I think the price was $29.95 but double check it when you make reservations if that's of interest. For reservations call 702-770-3463.
Funny, I was just telling my bf about this brunch and your previous review. So glad you posted more info. We are going in October and will make a reservation.
ReplyDeleteYum Yum Yum Yum Yum. My mouth is watering thinking about it again.
