Only a hour flight away from Las Vegas we visit frequently, sometimes once a month. I'll be sharing our trip reports, tips on making the most of your stay in Vegas, reviews of restaurants and shows we have seen, along with my thoughts related to our favorite place to get away from it all.

Wynn's Country Club Jazz Brunch!

We loved the Jazz Brunch at Wynn's Country Club restaurant. The views, the service, the Jazz Trio and the food were all fabulous!

Can't decide if you want to order off the menu or do a buffet for your Sunday Brunch? Then I have the solution for you, book the "Cookin' with Jazz Brunch" at Wynn's Country Club restaurant and have the best of both dining experiences. The brunch is priced at $59 for adults before tip and taxes and is every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This price includes coffee, tea and juices but alcohol is extra.
The Jazz brunch is unique because in addition to a buffet set up, there's also a limited menu of items you can order as much as you want from, of food cooked fresh to order and it has several egg dishes, french toast, shrimp and grits, hot dog and chicken with parmesan on it. Since we were there with our close friends Yoke and Graham who were staying at Wynn this trip I was a bit distracted and neglected to take photos of that menu and also didn't get any photos that showed the complete buffet but since I intend to return to eat here again, I'll be sure to do that next time!
Above is the poached eggs with BBQ smoked pork, bacon cheese muffin and green chile hollandaise sauce that you can order from the menu. Graham said it was delicious!
For those of you like my friend Kydds who joke I never eat a hot dog when in Las Vegas here's the proof that I will at least pose for a photo with one. The hot dog is also on their menu cooked to order and I was told it was one of the tastiest hot dogs on the Vegas strip.

Yes, that's my plate piled high with cajun shrimp, shrimp cocktail, baby carrots and a salsa type salad.
There were also plenty of oysters and crab legs though I don't think any of us had the crab this time. While Randy and I don't care for oysters our friends like them and thought they were very fresh.
Shellfish Station
Red King Crab Legs, Shrimp Cocktail, Oysters, Cocktail Sauce, and New Orleans Rémoulade Sauce.
Smoked Salmon and Orange-Tarragon Gravlax Carving Station, Breads and Crackers, traditional accoutrements, Créme Fraîche, Seasonal Fruits and salads.
Beef Tenderloin, Brown Sugar Brined Pork Chops,Creole Spice Rubbed Jumbo Shrimp,Chef’s Selection of Sausages,Chile Rubbed Turkey Breast.
I tried a tasting of the turkey, sausage, pork chop and beef tenderloin and all were good, but I loved the chile rub turkey breast the best. The brined pork chop was also outstanding and not too sweet even though it had the brown sugar.
Other items was gumbo, cheese, grilled vegetables, mac and cheese, etc..plenty of food on the buffet in addition to the items you can order from the menu.
There were 2 tables of desserts and I thought the selection was well thought out.
Can you tell by these plates of desserts all 4 of us adore sweets?
The plate above was mine, yes all mine, don't judge me! The cheese with port cherries and cracker bread was a great combination. The best dessert in my opinion hands down was the marshmallow chocolate lollipop above with icing and multicolored sprinkles.
This was Graham's plate of desserts and I'm pretty sure he loved them.
Graham before eating at the Brunch.
Graham after eating at the Brunch! Just kidding of course, Graham's actually in great shape but he does have this trick stomach.
Above is my husband Randy's dessert plate, but I believe he returned for the marshmallow lollipop dessert I raved about.
Yoke's dessert plate with carrot and celery sticks because according to her everyone's plate has to have something healthy on it, <lol>. How does she stay so slender?
We're so full but very happy, great food!
Our server was marvelous, great personality and always there when you wanted something. He even followed us out to the patio without us asking and took a group photo for us.
So is this the best brunch on the strip? Personally for me it's a tie with Bellagio's Jasmine Fountain Brunch. The pricing is very close, the food at both is great, I've had terrific service as both, so it really comes down to which menu appeals to you the most and if you want to hear jazz with your brunch or watch the Bellagio fountain shows.
I'll definitely return to the Wynn Jazz Buffet in the future!

  1. Thank you so much for your review D. Do they offer bottomless champagne for an extra charge?

  2. Hi Tania!

We didn't have any champagne or cocktails at the brunch so I didn't see the drink price list, however nothing was said by our server about unlimited champagne for a price, so I'm thinking not.

  4. I'm getting ready to make a reservation for the Jazz Brunch for my March trip - for my mom's birthday. Do you just need to make a reservation for the Wynn Country Club, and that gets you into the brunch? I'm assuming YES!

After looking at all your great pics again and again, I convinced my mom it would be worth her time. She's as big a Cajun fan as I am, and I could never drag her to the Jasmine brunch because dislikes Chinese food. YUM!

  5. Deann, you're assumption is correct about the Jazz Brunch reservation.

Given your Mom's preferences she will love the Wynn Brunch. I know I would like to return and eat there again soon.

You two will have a great trip!
